About Angela

Angela McIlveen (Jolly) is a lawyer in Gastonia, N.C. She is married to Sean McIlveen. Together they have a combined family of four children.  She is a partner in the McIlveen Family Law Firm. She handles cases in all areas of litigation.

Angela graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. In 2006, she graduated from Case Western Reserve School of Law in Cleveland, OH with a concentration in litigation. While in law school, Angela served as coach for the AIPLA Moot Court Team, she was member of Jonathan M. Ault Mock Trial Team, and she competed regionally in the National Mock Trial Competition. In 2006, she was inducted into the Order of Barristers National Honor Society.

Prior to joining the McIlveen Family Law Firm, Angela worked in the Assistant State Attorney’s office in Miami, FL and through the CLI program she prosecuted criminal cases. She then returned to NC, where she gained extensive experience in civil litigation at a firm in Charlotte, N.C.
